Stepping into Buborék in Csopak, we may at first be taken aback by the bicycles on display. This is a true crossover spot—a bakery, breakfast café, bistro, bike shop, and repair service all in one, where you can rent a bike or even stay overnight. The display counter speaks for itself, evoking the feel of a genuine French boulangerie. Buborék is the vision of Rita Nárai and Gábor Penziás, while the bakery is run by a young go-getter, Dávid Berki. Their own baked goods take centre stage in the plated breakfasts, using both wholegrain and organic flour. Their sourdough baguettes, croissants, and all things puff pastry have earned a well-deserved reputation, drawing regulars back from the four corners of Balaton.
