Cvekedli Tésztabár

Three cheeky young guys run a cheekily good pasta bar in Nyíregyháza. Eric and Máté Gabulya, and Máté Délceg cover all the bases: the kitchen, the counter, and the behind-the-scenes work. The Gabulya brothers learned their skills in some of the top restaurants, then shook up the gastronomic scene in this northeastern Hungarian city with a truly much-needed diner. Their top-notch homemade pastas are made with expertise and gourmet ingredients, but they manage to turn even the humblest dishes – like semolina noodles, poppy seed pasta, or the signature cabbage cvekedli – into flavours that even our grandmothers could not pull off. They also serve soups and small jar desserts, and now, they are open not just for lunch, but also in the evening.
