Fázis Koszt&Kávé

Fázis used to house an electricity provider and later a furniture factory. Located outside the city center, just a short walk from the train station, its gravel courtyard and exposed brick walls give it an industrial feel – but inside, the spacious venue reveals a colourful, cozy, and in some parts even elegant interior. They are open from early morning with an impressively rich menu. You will find a wide range of egg dishes, lecsó (Hungarian ratatouille), French toast, bagels, croissants, and even eight types of desserts on the brunch menu. They close as early as 6 PM (except on Fridays and Saturdays), so the place functions more as a café and brunch or lunch spot – albeit with a proper restaurant menu. Their selection stretches from simple spreads to tenderloin steak; in season, they serve an excellent marrow stew with trout from Szilvásvárad and carrot croquettes. There are also colourful poke bowls packed with veggies, flavourful homemade cakes, and very good coffee.
