This place is anything but a lazy summer snack bar, they have built an entire brand around local freshwater fish. In the off-season, they host fish dinners, take their fish bar on the road for events, and even prep mouthwatering holiday fish packages. Frying fish, for them, is not just a summertime gig. Here, you get to choose from a full-on “hal’ a carte” menu, based on their mission to reinvent crowd-pleasing dishes using Hungarian freshwater fish. Think catfish gyros, fish sausage, fish burgers, fish & chips. They bread and score all kinds of species: zander, carp, catfish, crucian carp, and bream. One of their standout bites is the crispy carp, and their signature soup is the Tisza-style fish soup, which you can get with either carp or catfish. If only every waterfront snack bar took its mission this seriously.
