St. Andrea Wine & Skybar

The Eger-based winery made a name for itself as a restaurant near Nyugati Station, then took things to the next level – literally – with the opening of St. Andrea Skybar in 2017. From the bustle of Vörösmarty Square, the rooftop bar is completely hidden from view, but once you take the elevator up, it feels like you are truly seeing the city for the first time. There is a stunning panorama in both directions – toward Pest and Buda – and even the indoor area is a great place to hang out. Outside, you can unwind on a terrace with 360-degree views, while the enclosed restaurant space welcomes guests all year round, no matter the weather. The bar food lives up to the high standards of the St. Andrea name, with a refined lineup of gourmet bites from fresh oysters and duck bao to rich duck liver. And beyond the winery’s own bottles, the cocktail and drinks menu is broad and ambitious.
