TOÀN Vietnámi Étterem

Unlike the typical Asian buffets of Kőbánya, TOÀN plays in the restaurant league. Its authenticity shows in the crowd: a large portion of diners are Asian, coming for a taste of home. Inside, long communal tables, neon lights, retro table settings (think folded napkins in glasses), and Vietnamese pop music set the scene. The plating is surprisingly elegant, the salad selection is broad, and the soups are especially strong, alongside the classic wok dishes. It is a reliable spot for authentic pad thai and bún chả, and they handle seafood and fish with particular skill. The last section of the menu is not translated into Hungarian or English, it is a nod to the Vietnamese regulars and their personal favourites. But do not worry, the photos are helpful, and getting a little lost in the extras only makes the experience more memorable.
