Once a diplomat and university lecturer, Fabrice Gonet now cultivates organic vegetables and hosts one of Hungary’s most distinctive home restaurants. Based in Pécs since 2009, it was during the pandemic that he felt the call of nature and created Szezon Färm, his organic garden in Pécsdevecser. It now serves as the pantry for Fabrice’s Table, his occasional private dinners. He grows beetroot, chard, potatoes, cabbages, lettuces, carrots, rhubarb and herbs, and on occasion opens up his fairy-tale home and garden for 4- or 5-course dinners. What he serves is always international – fusions and inspirations built on the foundations of his own harvest.Expect a warm, engaging host, eclectic company, bold flavours and a convivial atmosphere if you're lucky enough to gain a seat at Fabrice’s table.
