Hétköznapok.

After making a name for himself in fine dining, Csaba Sajben has long since taken a different direction. He stepped away from the city buzz, and it shows how much he is enjoying it. On the border of Budafok and Budatétény, in what you might call a culinary blind spot, he opened Hétköznapok. The place sticks to what they can do at top quality, without trying to impress some abstract foodie elite. The main draw is the canotto pizza: a big, puffy-crusted beauty in the spirit of Neapolitan style, topped with gourmet ingredients. The weekly soup, however, reveals the chef’s skills and fine dining background. When you see names like “cauliflower cream soup with lovage green beans, roasted carrots, brown butter seeds” or “gazpacho with pickled fennel, goat cheese, marinated raisins, and crispy bread,” it’s clear you are not in just any old pizzeria.
